Assistant Project Manager
Acculign Framing Systems is looking for a Assistant Project Manager to help our quickly growing company continue to thrive. We design, fabricate, and install a mechanically adjustable cladding support system that is used in high-end projects around the world.
Our company was founded four years ago with the invention of the Acculign Precision Hanger; a revolutionary product in the commercial cladding hanging/framing world. This is an opportunity to work with an exciting product in a growing company that is partnering with innovative global companies.
Assist the Project Manager with assigned tasks.
Create and update project schedules.
Assist in oversight of the execution of projects to ensure the projects are kept on track, completed safely, and to our clients expectations.
Coordinate with and manage project superintendents to ensure equipment, labor, materials, and all other project related resources are in place as needed to be successful.
Thoroughly track project activities to provide timely reporting and through communication to outside parties.
Provide technical support and feedback to the engineering group.
Administer deviation reporting procedures, scope changes and trends.
Construct bid packets for bid submittal.
Perform site administration duties including subcontractor submittals, RFIs, permit tracking, etc.
Track project documentation (RFIs, Submittals, etc.).
Perform detailed project takeoffs, using onscreen computer estimating, and prepare estimates for management review, within time deadlines.
Maintain/update the project drawing set electronically and physically.
Monitor and maintain proper documentation and review products for sustainability compliance with project requirements.
Some travel may be required.
1 – 5 years of experience as a Project Specialist/Engineer
BS in construction management, engineering, or related field. Field work experience can be substituted for education.

Expert customer service
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills (English) including ability to edit for spelling, grammar, punctuation, structure, and formatting
Strong MS Office skills, including schedules
AutoCAD experience and PE licensing are a plus but are not required
Strong attention to detail and understanding of process, numbers, spreadsheets, and calculations
